    What is Anxiety?

Worry is a normal part of life. We all worry about different things from time to time, depending on what’s happening in our lives. However, anxiety is excessive worry that interferes with our daily lives.

Some people experience mild symptoms while others struggle with severe symptoms, leaving them feeling debilitated and out of control. In its most extreme form, people can have panic attacks, stutter, feel nervous all the time, or even develop Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

    Symptoms of Anxiety

You’re likely to experience some of the following:

    • Increased awareness of your heart beating
    • Churning stomach
    • Chest tightness
    • Tense muscles
    • Sweaty palms
    • Headaches
    • Trembling
    • Nausea

Anxiety can affect your life in profound ways. However, you don't need to struggle on your own. Professional help is available to help you cope better and live a fulfilling life.
