    As a clinical psychologist, my priority is to work with people using therapies that are backed up by extensive scientific research, also called evidence-based therapies. For that reason, I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Training, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

    Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

    CBT is a psychological therapy that has proven to be effective in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, phobias, and other mental health disorders. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy focuses on changing unhelpful thinking styles and behaviours to improve emotional regulation, develop coping strategies, and solve current problems.

    Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    Mindfulness Training

    Mindfulness training is a powerful therapy that alters the neural pathways in the brain, leading to lasting change. In short, it teaches people to be fully present in the here and now.
